The Emerald Drops collection is inspired by my love for the verdant colours of the African landscape with its ability to turn into luxuriant shades of green after a single rain shower. In African beadwork the colour green denotes contentment. It symbolises humanity’s connection with nature and its dependence on the nurturing provided by the soil and the environment within which societies can grow and prosper.
