The Firefly collection is inspired by the fierce passion for life displayed by my youngest son, Markus. He lights a flame in everybody that crosses his path and ignites a desire to live life to its fullest. Orange is the warm colour of hospitality and friendship. In the Maasai and other East African societies orange represents a warmth of spirit that is often used by a girl (Intombi) as a convivial colour to welcome people into communities.
