Drop on a Pink Pappilon Wing

The magic of transformation into beauty beyond imagination is what inspires the Drop on a Pink Papillon Wing collection. The design depicts a fluttering of butterflies that beckons the viewer to look again, to be amazed, to be mesmerised and to be whisked away... Pink is one of the seven primary colours used in traditional Nguni beadwork. Through the years pink glass beads grew in value because of its rarity and were increasingly used in designs to signify the high status of the wearer or indicate the promise of future success. The Umqhele design is inspired by the Zulu crowning ceremony.
“Do not judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”
- Nelson Mandela
